Orders

For international orders we encourage you to order via Amazon
Local orders you can order via all platforms. Send us a message via watsup, or email us on info@beatricembooks.co.za or order via Amazon or google shop
All orders are processed within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation (this is a fully automated process once you have checked out and paid for your goods). You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
When your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check the status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available.

Collections

Please arrange via info@beatricembooks.co.za should you wish to arrange for your own pick up. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 24 hours of confirmation of your order (weekdays only). We will send you an email when your order is ready, along with instructions

Delivery times

Deliveries may take between 1 to 7 working days depending on the area and may cost between R80 to R120. Bulk orders may take 10 working days depending on stock availability. Delivery fee maybe charged depending on area and volume
Please note that there may be remote outlying areas that none of our contracted couriers service, in which case we will advise you on next steps, which may include shipping your package to the nearest serviced town for your collection. You will be notified via your email provided on checkout to keep you updated on your delivery status.
Should your order not be delivered through non-fulfilment of obligation to deliver on the part of the courier (theft or loss of the package), we will reissue you with a new package at no additional cost to you. If the customer was not contactable, the courier has the discretion to return the order back to our warehouse, in which case the customer will have to contact us to get the package reissued (we may pass on to the customer any fee that the courier charges for returned delivery on).
Local delivery timelines are estimates provided through our service level agreement with our preferred couriers. Once your parcel has been handed over to the courier, however, there are factors that are not within our control that may affect the timelines as provided. These include but are not exclusive to e.g., wrong addresses provided by customer, inability to reach customer by phone for hand-over, strike action by the courier, even theft. We do assist, however, on a case-by-case basis and wherever possible to assist on our end. Where there are issues encountered by the courier, they let us know timeously and we communicate this to the customer immediately.

Wrong orders

If we sent the wrong book title, please send an email to info@beatricembooks.co.za We will swop out the book and arrange for a return at no additional cost to the customer within the same delivery timelines once the amended order has been confirmed
If your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@beatricembooks.co.za with your order number and (if possible) a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution for our customer.

Returns and Refunds

We accept returns up to 7 days after confirmed delivery, the item must be unused and in its original condition and packaging. The customer is fully liable for the shipping costs of the exchange. Please note, the customer is fully liable for both the return and delivery of the books, meaning we will pass the courier company costs onto the client before the exchange. Delivery timelines are as the standard delivery timelines for the original delivery. We do not refund gift voucher purchases or discounted products. unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange for any claims raised after 7 days of confirmed delivery.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and he/she will find out about your return.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
